Simple Algorithms Explained

Description

Algorithms are explained here without code or advanced mathematics, using situations most people already know. The lessons begin with what an algorithm is and show how you already follow them in everyday life. They then introduce simple sorting, search algorithms, if-then decision logic, and loops that repeat tasks.

The final lesson brings these ideas together by building your first simple algorithm. Exercises appear in several PDFs, and tables summarise the main steps for each idea. The examples come from daily routines, so they are easy to relate to even if you have never programmed and do not plan to.

Who it is for: curious beginners who want to understand how algorithms work without a technical background.
