Intro to Numismatics

Description

Numismatics is the study and collecting of coins. These fourteen PDF lessons start with first steps and an overview of coin types and their stories, then list the tools every collector needs and explain how to handle and store coins properly.

You learn how coin grading works, how to look for valuable coins in your change, and how to plan a first collection. Later lessons cover where to find coins, avoiding scams, spotting fakes, documenting a collection, and joining the collecting community. The PDFs include checklists, tables and a few exercises.

Who it is for: adults who are curious about coins and want to start a collection with sound habits.
