1. Accepted Payment Methods
Tutruvio accepts the following forms of payment:
- Visa credit and debit cards
- Mastercard credit and debit cards
All transactions are securely processed through our authorized third-party payment processor, which complies with Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) standards.
No other payment methods (e.g., PayPal, crypto, cash, or bank transfers) are accepted at this time.
2. Payment Processing and Authorization
- All payments are processed in real time when you confirm a purchase.
- Upon payment, the transaction will appear under “TUTRUVIO.COM” or a similar reference on your card statement.
- Payments are handled via secure SSL connections and are encrypted end-to-end.
- You authorize Tutruvio and its payment processor to charge your card for course purchases or related services.
Tutruvio does not store full card numbers or security codes.
3. Strong Customer Authentication (3D Secure / SCA)
In compliance with PSD2 and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements, all card payments use 3D Secure (3DS) verification.
This means you may be asked to verify your identity with your card issuer during checkout, using one or more of the following:
- A one-time passcode (SMS or app notification)
- Biometric verification (fingerprint, facial recognition)
- A secure banking app confirmation
This process ensures your payment is authorized by both you and your bank, reducing the risk of fraud.
4. Currency and Pricing
- All prices are displayed in the currency specified on the platform.
- Currency conversions, if applicable, are handled by your bank or card provider.
- Exchange rates and fees are determined by your card issuer and are not controlled by Tutruvio.
5. Payment Security
Tutruvio uses secure payment gateways that comply with:
- PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
- GDPR for data privacy and storage
- SCA and PSD2 for authentication
Your payment data is processed securely, and Tutruvio does not retain sensitive financial details.
6. Buyer Payments
When you purchase a course:
- The payment amount will be charged immediately upon order confirmation.
- Tutruvio holds funds temporarily to ensure fraud protection and refund eligibility.
- After the refund period expires, payment is released to the Seller (course creator).
7. Seller Payouts
Sellers receive payouts in accordance with the Seller Dashboard schedule:
- Payments are made after the completion of the refund eligibility period.
- Funds are transferred to the Seller’s registered payout method.
- Tutruvio deducts its platform commission before payout.
All Seller payouts are processed via secure channels compliant with PSD2 and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) standards.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by Tutruvio’s Refund Policy.
If a refund is approved:
- It will be issued to the original payment method (Visa or Mastercard).
- Processing time may vary between 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- 3D Secure verification may apply during refund confirmation.
Tutruvio reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet eligibility requirements.
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was unauthorized:
- Contact Tutruvio Support at contact@tutruvio.com immediately.
- If unresolved, you may contact your card issuer to initiate a chargeback.
Please note:
- Tutruvio cooperates fully with card issuers in dispute investigations.
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension or legal action.
10. Taxes and Compliance

11. Payment Failure or Decline
If a transaction fails:
- Check that your card details, expiration date, and 3D Secure verification are correct.
- Ensure your card allows international or online transactions.
